Devops Cloud Engineer

Optimoz is looking for a DevopsCloud Engineer to setup and maintain AWS Cloud Infrastructure Automation, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment of multiple Java applications. You will be creating and maintaining fully automated CI/CD processes for multiple Java/J2EE environments, writing/ maintaining build and deployment scripts and helping to improve agility and quality of software delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Setup and support AWS Infrastructure automation utilizing AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, ECS, Cloudformation Templates, Cloudwatch
- Support developers from source control, through build automation, merge resolution, CI, test automation, deployment based on tools usage and policies, standards
- Setup and support Devops policies, standards, guidelines, governance and related guidance
- Analyze software and infrastructure vulnerabilities to determine risk, impact and remediation strategies – drive remediation of defects through automation
- Setup and maintain Security compliance including client and server patching, endpoint protection, configuration management
- Participate with the team lead in technical evaluations, solution and design approaches discussions
- Deploy services/application to various environment including production
- Participate in the Sprint Review and Retrospectives and maintain Sprint progress
Requirements:
- 5+ Years of relevant experience
- Ability to excel within an Agile environment
- Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools such as Chef, Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, Java, Ruby
- Solid experience with AWS Cloud services including EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, ECS, Cloudformation Templates, Cloudwatch
- Experience with Systems level configuration management tools and creating automating infrastructure/ code deployment and management – Chef Preferred. Others Puppet, Ansible
- Understanding of protocols, such as, SSL/TLS, CIFS, HTTP/S, DHCP, SMTP, LDAP/S and DNS
- Hands-on experience with Linux
- Experience with Open Source Repository Manager – Sonatype Nexus
- Experience with systems and IT operations
- Confident in frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
- Knowledgeable in networking concepts and services, such as, VPNs, IPSec, PKI and TCP/IP
- Experienced in security directives, policies, publications and regulations including NIST Security Controls and FISMA
- Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask; can set priorities and follow a timeline
- Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
Clearance Required: Must be a US Citizen, Clearable for Public Trust
Education: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related scientific or technical discipline or experience.
